POLYETHYLENE PIPE IN NON-PRESSURE (GRAVITY) SYSTEMS
The polyethylene pipe used for non-pressure collection of wastewater and surface water requires high resistance to corrosive liquids and optimal ring stiffness to imported loads. In 1956, Baku entered to the market with a special piping system made of polyethylene and polypropylene with structured wall pipe with core-tube. Double-wall polyethylene pipe from Tadbir Novin Sazan Co. are designed and used for different installation conditions in different projects. The most important issue is the effort of the company’s engineers to supply all the required parts of the project made of the same polyethylene. In this technology, to deliver any non-pressure fluid (such as sewage), all components such as pipe, three-way, elbow, polyethylene manhole and septic tank and fittings are presented fully integrated with anticipation of all performance issues.
MASIL GOLESTAN PROJECT
This project is to transfer surface water from south east of Tabriz (Masil Golestan) to El-Goli road. The length of the route is approximately 2 kilometers and is located on the high traffic and recreational El-Goli park route. In the original design, the prefabricated concrete box was designed in 2m by 2m dimensions. Due to the traffic congestion, the weight of the prefabricated parts of about 12 tons, and also installation complications, it seemed very difficult to implement the project. Due to its lightness, easy installation, as well as hydraulic properties, polyethylene pipe was a good option for concrete replacement.
